STANDING COMMITTEES
The current CIPA standing committees are set forth below. If you’re interested in leading or participating in any of the committees, please let us know.
Membership Committee
The purpose of the Membership Committee is to develop and implement strategies for recruiting, retaining, and engaging CIPA members. The Committee shall make membership-related recommendations to the Board, and shall support efforts to enhance member involvement, satisfaction, and alignment with CIPA’s mission.
Sponsorship and Partnership Committee
The purpose of the Sponsorship and Partnership Committee is to develop, oversee, and support CIPA’s sponsorship strategy in order to generate financial support consistent with CIPA’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. The Committee shall identify and cultivate sponsorship opportunities, recommend sponsorship programs and policies to the Board, and assist in building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with sponsors and partners.
Canadian Heritage Committee
The purpose of the Canadian Heritage Committee is to research, foster, and promote Canadian identity and values, cultural development, and heritage to members. The five core areas of responsibility are (1) creativity, arts, and culture; (2) heritage and celebration; (3) sport; (4) diversity and inclusion; and (5) official languages.
